NMS track team wrapped up their season at sectionals. It was a very successful, record-breaking season, with a state qualification in the 100 meter dash! North had 10 Top Ten finishes at sectionals against some tough competition including Hardin Valley, Farragut, and Maryville ⭐️
Congratulations to 8th grader, Jenna Moore, for her incredible finish in the 100m dash at sectionals. She will be representing NMS at the AA State Track Championships! ❤️⭐️💙
Mrs. Amber Young received a $2,500.00 STEM Grant through TVA for the incredible Horticulture course she offers. Thank you to Robbie Ansary and TVA for awarding this gift to our school to continue building our CTE & STEM course offerings ❤️⭐️💙

6th grade spent the past two days exploring the Titanic Museum 🚢 This exciting field trip provides context to the events of the Titanic for our students as they explore the museum. We are grateful for these opportunities for our students as they finish the school year ❤️⭐️💙
The 8th grade Washington D.C. trip has been a blast so far! These sweet kids have toured monuments, Arlington Cemetery, the Holocaust Museum, and conquered a long drive via double-decker bus. We are thankful for the memories made on these trips ❤️⭐️💙

Due to the large number of students trying out for boys' basketball, we are adding one additional tryout day on Wednesday, May 15 from 3:30-5:00 to collect additional evaluation data to develop cut rosters. Thank you for your patience with this process ❤️⭐️💙
5th grade attended Biz Town this past week to learn all about different careers, life in the workforce, and balancing finances. Teachers worked incredibly hard to design real-life scenarios for our students by using volunteers to run the simulations. ❤️⭐️💙
