Attention students that will be enrolled in Honors English. Summer reading assignments for students enrolled in Honors English classes next year will be available in the front office at LHS starting Monday, 5/12. Scan the QR code for digital copies.
We are so excited to have our graduation ceremony for the Class of 2025 at our stadium. Here are some informational notes so you are prepared:
-Gates into the stadium open at 8:30 on Saturday morning. Both sides of the stadium will be open for seating. The graduation stage will be facing the home side of the stadium.
-Only students, staff, our School Board, and Central Office Staff that will be seated on the field will be allowed on the field. All others will stay outside of the fence until the ceremony ends.
-Those in attendance may bring stadium seats, however, please refrain from large chairs in the stadium seating so we can fit as many people as possible. Shelters, covers, canopies, etc. will not be allowed in the stands.
-Attendees may stand or sit on the track, however there will be a space blocked off to assure those in the stands can see students on the field.
Handicapped seating will be on the first row of the home side and away side. -Thank you for the help with accommodating those with special needs. Both home and away sides have handicap accessible ramps.
-No pets of any kind are allowed at graduation (other than certified and marked service animals).
-It is our hope that the ceremony will last approximately 70 minutes. Thank you in advance for your patience.
It’s Teacher Appreciation week! Our teachers are incredible people that spend countless hours educating, mentoring, assisting, challenging, and supporting our students. They sacrifice a great amount to invest in the next generation. We can’t thank them enough for all they do to prepare our students for their future.
Thank you to all the great people and groups that have blessed our teachers with goodies and great deals such as our Central Office staff, School Board, LifeBridge Church - Loudon, Community Bible Study Group at Loudon Church of the Nazarene, The Forge, Chick-fil-A Lenoir City (1009 Highway 321 N, Lenoir City, TN), and our very own Key Club, Interact Club, International Club, National Honor Society, and Student Council.

Year book distribution will take place Thursday and Friday this week. Students must come during their lunch period and not their skinny class to pick up a yearbook if they have already purchased one.
Please come be apart of our open house tomorrow, April 26, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Our students and staff have worked hard to produce a high quality house.
Come help us celebrate the Class of 2025! Graduation will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 10th at the Loudon High School football field. The gates will open at 8:30 A.M.

We hope you had a great Easter! This week continues our Spring End of Course testing. Here are some great steps to be best prepared for testing.
-Please make sure all students manually update their computers and shut it down completely over the break. Students should be able to access TestNav on their computer if it is fully up to date.
-It is also important that students familiarize themselves with a list of all prohibited items, specifically that not electronic devices besides the student issued computer is allowed in the testing classrooms. A list of all prohibited items can be found on the Tennessee Department of Education website. Engaging in any prohibited behavior will result in a zero and the test invalidated.
-Students and staff cannot not access any testing materials that are not theirs, nor shall they review or discuss any of the questions before, during, or after testing.
-Students and staff cannot copy, photograph, share, or reproduce any testing materials.
-Students and staff must follow all proper testing policies and procedures outlined in the test administration manual.
-Students and staff cannot engage in any activity not related to testing while in the test room. This includes no access to phones, smartwatches, AirPods, computer programs or websites.
-Any violation of Tennessee testing procedures outlined in the Test Security Manual may result in the exam being invalidated and not scored

If students are not enrolled in one of the state tested courses, they will rotate through their classes and continue working towards mastery in each class.

Interact Club had the privilege of helping Mrs. McBride make goody bags for Without Limits Baseball. The Interact Club is honored to also volunteer as buddies with the athletes.
The National Honor Society won a grant written by early graduate Miranda P to garden in our school courtyard. Here we are cleaning up on day 1 of our project.

Due to pursuit down Highway 11, Loudon High School was briefly under a soft lockdown. The lockdown has been lifted. There is no emergency at the school and classes are progressing as normal.

Senior Parents: If you and your senior have NOT completed the FAFSA, now is the time to get that done!! The FAFSA must be signed with a verified FSA ID and must be completed by April 15th in order for your student to receive the Tennessee Promise as well as other financial aid. Loudon High will have someone available to assist students and families on Wednesday, April 2 from 12:30 - 2:30 and Thursday, April 3 from 10:00 until 2:00.
