Mr. Bivens was chosen as the Teacher of the Month. He was chosen for his patience and work ethic, as well as his commitment to the school and community in extra-curricular activities.
Officer Harig was chosen as the Staff Member of the Month. He was selected for his ability to be stealthy and for building great rapport with students. In addition, he plays basketball against students during PE, especially his arch nemesis, James F.
Maggie T. was selected as the student of the month for her honesty and integrity. She found a large sum of money and turned it in to the office, which was returned to the rightful owner.
Torie B. was chosen as the student of the month for her great attitude and hard work ethic in class. Way to go monthly winners!

Congratulations to Torie B. for being selected as the Northwestern Mutual Player of the Week presented by Brandon Millard. Her defensive energy brought a spark to the Lady Redskins. She displayed grit and great anticipation on the defensive end of the floor. Great work Torie!
Happy birthday Mrs. Brenda! She is a great team player and an important part of our cafeteria staff. As with all of our LHS Lunch staff, she loves her job and helps deliver healthy and nutritious lunches. We are thankful for her at LHS and wish her a Happy Birthday!

Our very own Loudon High School Navy JROTC Instructor Master Sergeant "Top" Dukes VFW Award!!
We were just notified that Top won the local, regional, and state competitions for VFW Teacher of the Year Award!!
So, while he's busy receiving those, we'll be putting together his nomination for competition at the NATIONAL LEVEL!!!

Happy Birthday to Principal MacKintosh! He is an exceptional leader with an impeccable work ethic. He consistently serves students and staff with the utmost respect and dignity. He continually seeks ways to improve practices and methods to ensure student success. We are grateful for his leadership and servant’s heart, and we wish him a very happy birthday!
We got a day behind for Christmas Break, but this guy hasn't taken a day off. Mr. Bivens never takes it easy. He is always seeking ways to help and be involved in the school and community. He has been spending his "break" providing announcing for the LHS basketball tournament, serving the community as a volunteer first responder, and taking on jobs in the shop. He is a great example of hard work and commitment. We want to make sure we wish him a very Happy Birthday!
