Shoutout to all the creative minds out there — the Turkey Disguise Project submissions this year are next level! Who knew turkeys could pull off so many incredible disguises? From superheroes to chefs, these turkeys have transformed to avoid the Thanksgiving table! Kudos to all the artists (and turkeys) for such fun and clever ideas.

🛑 Attention Parents 🛑 During P/T Conferences today please stop by Lost and Found. We have more items than we have hangers. We have moved all of it to the stage in the upper cafe.

Birthday cheers to Mrs. Laura! 🎉 Your commitment and enthusiasm make our school a better place. Wishing you a day full of joy! 🍰

🚨Hello parents!🚨
This is just a reminder that due to Parent/Teacher Conferences tonight, we do not have after school LAUNCH. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Parents don't forget to check out the lost and found during P/T conferences tomorrow. We have lots of water bottles, shirts, and jackets.

Teacher spotlight: With inspiring energy and a swing that aim high, Mrs. Hurst motivates her students on and off the ball field, always encouraging them to swing for the fences!

Good afternoon, Eaton families! Here is your Monday Minute for the week of November 11th. Thank you to the Veteran’s that came out today to the parade. We appreciate your service!
1) This month’s family engagement activity is to disguise a turkey. We will decorate the front foyer with the turkeys after they present them in class. The turkeys are due this Wednesday. If you need a copy, click here: https://5il.co/30k5p
2) Wear orange on Friday to support UT’s game against Georgia.
3) P/T conferences are on Thursday. Our goal is to have 80% of parents show up for in-person conferences from 3:30-6:30. We will use a small portion of our fundraising funds to show appreciation to our teachers and feed them supper since will be here till 6:30 that evening. No LAUNCH due to conferences.
4) Giving Tuesday is coming up this year. We will collect donations from Tuesday, November 26th to Tuesday, December 3rd to support Old Fort Elementary in North Carolina this year. They were impacted by the flooding in September. Donations of gently used books for their library, general classroom supplies, and teacher supplies will be accepted.
5) We are looking for second semester helping selling ice cream on Fridays. If you can help, please sign up using this link: https://forms.gle/gjFqifFKqNa5wCg87

Our students are celebrating Veterans today. We hope you can join us for the parade at 10:00 and program at 6:30. Thank you Central United Methodist for opening your parking lot and church to our school today! ❤️💙 Here is a sneak peek of the program.

Happy Veteran's Day! 🇺🇸 Today we honor and thank all veterans for their service and sacrifice. Families, take a moment to recognize the bravery and dedication of our heroes. Share stories, attend a parade, or simply express your gratitude. Together, let's celebrate our veterans

Friendly reminder, parents! The Disguise a Turkey project are due this Wednesday. Let’s get creative and have some Thanksgiving fun! 🦃🍂 Can’t wait to see all the amazing disguises!

The EES library is honoring the brave and remembering the sacrifice. Inspired by America’s White Table, this remembrance table is set in military bases across the country on Veterans Day. Each item on the table holds deep meaning, from the empty chair and white cloth to the single red rose, reminding us of the courage and sacrifice of the fallen, missing, and prisoners of war.
As we honor our Veterans on Monday don't forget to wear red, white, and blue. We also hope our local Veterans will come drive thru our parade honoring them on Monday at 10:00.

Big thanks to our incredible 4th grade Color Guard team from Mrs. Byars room for their dedication and spirit this week! We’re grateful for your care of our flag. 💙
