Guidance While School is out...
It is our priority to continue serving and supporting our students and families as we are best able even though school is not in session. I can be reached at harriss@loudoncounty.org if you have any needs, and I will do my best to assist in any capacity. There are several resources on my teacher page; please visit the tabs on the right to peruse these resources. Additionally, if you click on "Guidance" under the "Academics" tab on the North Middle School home page, Ms. Tilley and I will update the "Virtual Guidance" tab with resources relevant to our current situation.

In the event of an emergency or crisis, please contact 911. The following is a list of available resources:

WELCOME TO GUIDANCE!

Hi! My name is Sara Harris, and I am the 5th and 6th grade school counselor at North Middle School!

I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana but have called Tennessee home for 15 years. I attended the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee for college then moved to Knoxville to complete my master's in mental health counseling at the University of Tennessee. I became a National Certified Counselor and worked with adolescents and their families as an individual, family, and group therapist for several years until I was given the amazing opportunity to be a school counselor at North a few years ago!

My husband and I were married this summer. He teaches 8th grade social studies and coaches high school football. We love spending time with our families and friends, being outdoors, and traveling.

It is my absolute privilege to work with these STAR students and walk with your child during their middle school years. If I can ever be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to call or email me- or even come by!
