2020 North Panther Football

Any student interested in playing football for the North Panthers for the 2020-2021 season is asked to meet at the LCIMS football field on July 6 at 6:00 pm. You will receive further information from Coach Wilhite at that time. Prior to participating, you must have a physical dated after April 15, 2020 (turned in to Coach Wilhite) and ALL NMS students who wish to participate must come to North Middle School and sign a COVID-19 release form prior to being able to start practice or try-outs. NMS will make a copy of the form for you to take to Coach Wilhite at the meeting. The COVID waiver is available on our website at www.northmiddle.org or at NMS. NMS is open daily from 9-2. 2020-2021 Baseball Team Try-Outs

Baseball try-outs for the 2020-2021 North Stars Baseball Team will take place on July 9th from 4:30-6pm with a make-up day of July 16th from 4:30-6pm. Both dates will take place at the NMS field at 821 Price Road, Lenoir City. Any upcoming 6-8th grade student may try-out. All players must have a physical on file with the coach and complete the COVID waiver form (available on the North Middle School website at www.northmiddle.org) PRIOR to being allowed to try-out. Due to the COVID restrictions in place, all players will have their temperature checked before being allowed to start try-outs. Parents and guardians should wait until their child clears the temperature check before leaving them at the field. No parents, guardians, or other spectators will be allowed at the field or facility during try-outs. All players must bring their own glove, bat, and helmet. Click Here for 5th Grade Band Sign-Ups

Attention all incoming 5th grade students and parents: if you would like to sign your child up for band for the 2020-2021 school year, please complete the form on headline link. This is only for new incoming 5th grade students. All 6-8th students who were in band last year will automatically be placed in band for next year. Any 6-8th grade student who wishes to sign up for band as a new member, will sign up with Mrs. Elenz when school starts. Thank you!

Lunch-and-Learn Webinars for Upcoming High Schoolers

The THEC/TSAC Outreach Team is excited to offer new Lunch-and-Learn webinars for the month of May. We’ll be launching our 8-for-8 series available to students and parents beginning Monday, May 11. The topics below will be relevant to students in early high school grades through graduating seniors. Each topic will be covered 4 times over the 2-week period and are scheduled so a family may attend all 8, if desired. The webinars will be offered Monday-Thursday at 11:30(central)/12:30(eastern) and will typically last around 30 minutes. Grab & Go Food Distribution

Loudon County is providing grab and go breakfasts and lunches for any child under 18 on Mondays and Wednesday from 12-1 p.m. at locations across the county. Click on this link to see all the lunch pick up locations. Children must be present to receive a breakfast and lunch.
